    About This Site, VictoriasJourney.com

    Welcome!

I'm Victoria Stuart; this is my personal website, that includes some background information on issues associated with transgenderism and transsexualism (), including my own life as a (transsexual) female.

Although the subject of gender identity and transgenderism will be unfamiliar to most people, gender-related issues affect each of us in one way or another, every day. Indeed, immediately upon meeting someone we subconsciously attempt to categorize them as male or female. Variations from this "either / or" classification lead us to examine our perceptions of gender in ourselves and others. Hence, I encourage you to explore VictoriasJourney.com!

Please note that there is absolutely *no* pornographic content or images on this site! My intention is to educate, advocate, and provide support for those exploring gender identity in themselves, or others.

    Sincerely,
    Victoria Stuart   ☺

    "Through A Glass Darkly ..."

In the earlier days of my transition, this website - "Victoria's Journey" - was originally entitled "Through A Glass Darkly: Victoria's Journey." I have always been particularly fond of this incredibly beautiful passage from 1 Corinthians 13 (see also):

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

While this is fundamentally an expression of love (charity), I believe that it also addresses issues of maturity, knowledge, patience and understanding that are important to each of us!

Please click here for the complete passage.

    With much "charity,"

    Victoria   ☺
